The Autism facts and figures are nothing short of staggering. Take a look here for some highlights:

- As of 2009, 673,000 children in the USA have Autism (which is up approximately 20% in the past 2 years alone!).

The following chart shows the economic cost of Autism.

Note: this chart really underestimates the data due to the calibration being based on 2003 rates of Autism. Rates in 2003 were significantly lower than today as a new cases of Autism now occur every 19 minutes in the US.
