Babies should avoid eating gluten to reduce risk of Autism

Avoiding the protein "gluten" may significantly reduce the risk of your child developing autism.

Gluten is a protein fraction found in all wheat, rye, barley, and most oat products. There is now a growing body of research that shows that certain foods seem to be affecting the developing brains of some children and causing autistic behaviors. This is not because of allergies, but because many of these children are unable to properly break down certain proteins.

Whole grains can be great for adults because they help “cleanse your stomach and colon”. However, babies and young children don’t need this type of “cleansing”. So, when whole grains are ingested they essentially act as sand paper to the baby’s gut and colon. The whole grains cause rips and tears in their gut and colon which then allow toxins from the environment and other foods to enter directly into the baby’s blood stream.

Many foods are now offered gluten-free, restaurants are offering items on their menu that are gluten-free, and recipes are offering gluten-free alternatives. Here are a few websites that may be helpful for finding ingredients and recipes for reducing gluten in your child’s diet.
