Autism Risks Increase with Pesticides
Autism risks can increase significantly with exposure to pesticides.
Pesticides KILL little bugs, don't let them harm your little baby.
Pesticides can be absorbed through the skin, swallowed or inhaled (most toxic). During application pesticides drift and settle on ponds, laundry, toys, pools and furniture. People and pets track pesticide residue into the house. Only 5% of pesticides reach target weeds. The rest runs off into water or dissipates in the air.
Children, infants, and fetuses are the most susceptible, relative to adults, because children have more rapid breathing and metabolic rates, greater surface to body mass ratios, thinner skins, spend more time in contact with the ground, more frequently place their fingers in their mouths, and are less likely to be able to read hazard signs.
In fact, there are several natural remedies you can use to kill or chase away bugs.
For example, parents have used baby powder to get rid of ants.
Roaches can be eliminated with catnip herb spray.
Many bugs run away from used coffee grounds too!
