Eat Organic to Reduce Autism Risk
Eat organic foods to reduce autism risk in your children.
As our population continues to grow, so does our need for larger and more plentiful crops. Unfortunately, babies and children don’t have the ability to break down the herbicides and pesticides used to produce those larger crops.
Some easy ways to eat organic are listed below and a great source of organic and natural foods is Whole Foods.
If you give your child beef, buy grass fed beef instead of corn fed meat. Corn is a major allergen so keeping it out of your child's diet is a great idea.
Many foods can be juiced raw. With fruit and vegetables this retains the vitally important enzymes that assist the digestion of all food in the body. Boiling or micro-waving depletes up to 80% of nutrients. Steaming retains 80%. Frying and barbecuing foods produces many toxic and carcinogenic substances. Grill or steam instead.
Buy your fruits and vegetables when they are in season. If you get them when they aren’t in season they are typically grown in areas that don’t have strict rules for growing.
